China allows late night flights

The number of travellers arriving in China is set to rise after authorities relaxed a ban on late night flights.
The decision was made by the country's General Administration of Civil Aviation to relieve the pressure on the country's airports as many, including the largest three - Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are running at full capacity.
All airlines will be able to permanently hold flights before 02:00 and ticket prices for night flights will be 20 per cent lower.
In the Xinjiang Region airports will be open until 04:00 and six other airports will be permitted to open to 06:00 for international flights, regional flights and cargo flights, although restrictions will be place for the safety reasons.
Beijing will now be allowed to increase its capacity by 100 flights a day.
Last year China saw an increase in civil flights of 17.5 per cent to 284 million passengers.
