Emirates launches FIFA promotions

Emirates Airline has teamed up with Marriott International to launch a series of FIFA World Cup 2006 promotions later this year.
More than 200 match tickets and 20 airline tickets to key World Cup gateway cities will be up for grabs in the various promotions, with many aimed at Emirates Skywards Gold & Silver members staying at Marriott hotels.
World Cup packages for Skywards Gold & Silver members include access to the hotel's Executive Lounge and exclusive screening areas and food and drinks specials during matches.
Promotions will take a range of different forms, including online quizzes, ticket raffles at Marriott and Emirates exhibition stands and competitions in newspapers.
'Football is a sport that brings the world together and through this partnership we are confident of taking the game to even more supporters around the globe,' Emirates Airline chief executive and chairman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, said.
Emirates is an official partner of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, which runs from 9th June to 9th July this year and will take place in 12 cities across Germany.
