Russell Crowe and Brad Pitt are to attend the Toronto Film Festival.
The festival runs from 7 to 16 September and will feature 352 films from 61 countries.
Pitt will attend the festival for the North American premiere of Babel and will be joined by Kiwi co-star Cate Blanchett.
Crowe will be heading to Toronto for the world premiere of Ridley Scott's A Good Year, in which he plays an English stockbroker who inherits a vineyard in Provence.
In total Toronto will see 19 world premieres during the festival and 32 North American premieres making the festival one of the major international film showcases.
Other stars expected to make the trip to Canada for the festival include Anthony Hopkins, Liam Neeson, Juliette Binoche, Yoko Ono, Penelope Cruz, Sharon Stone, Rachel Weisz, Dustin Hoffman and Peter O'Toole.
Tickets and passes for the festival are available in advance, but even before screenings queues form outside the cinemas as unsold seats are sold on a first come first served basis meaning auditoriums are always packed.
