110-yr-old traveller

A 110-year-old woman is proving that you are never too old to travel, by taking part in a pilgrimage.

Jamila Khatoon will be the oldest pilgrim making the journey, which begins in India and ends in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Data from the Consulate General of India reveals that Ms Khatoon is the oldest person travelling to make Haj in Islam's holiest place.

In total, it is expected that 157,000 people will make the journey from India for Haj a record number for the country.

India will be sending the second largest number of people to Mecca, after Indonesia. Thousands of Muslims of all nationalities will make the journey this year.
