People enjoying a city break in Sofia will soon be able to benefit from the new terminal which has been built at Sofia Airport.
The hub's chief executive officer has revealed that the terminal will be open in time to deal with the expected Christmas rush, reports the Sofia News Agency.
The passenger terminal was opened on 22 November, while the whole site should be fully operational by January 2007.
Elsewhere, Bulgaria is set to benefit from a major new ski and spa resort in the town of Razlog.
The plans are said to include a five-star hotel, 1,000 apartments and a shopping centre on a 25-acre site.
