Bangkok Film Festival
29 Nov 2006
Film buffs taking a holiday in Thailand may want to make their way to the Bangkok International Film Festival.
The event is taking place in January and thousands of people are expected to attend the two-week festival.
Previously the show has hosted such movie stars as Michael Douglas, Oliver Stone and Michelle Yeoh.
Although the festival line-up has yet to be confirmed for the 2007 event, visitors can expect to see some fantastic movies.
In the past, the likes of Lost in Translation and Motorcycle Diaries, as well as many other award-winning films, have featured and organisers are promising another bumper year.
Being an international film festival, there will be movies from across the world including a batch from Thailand.
Workshops are also to be set up for visitors to try their hand at some of the work that goes into making a film.
