An internal flight in America was forced to make an emergency landing as a result of a passenger's flatulence.
Other people onboard the flight reported that they could smell burning sulphur and it was discovered that the stench was coming from someone lighting matches.
The aircraft had to make an emergency landing in Nashville as a safety precaution and all 99 passengers and crew were forced to disembark.
Luggage was screened and passengers were searched until it was revealed that a woman had been lighting matches onboard in a bid to disguise the smell of her flatulence.
'It's humorous in a way but you feel sorry for the individual, as well,' Lynne Lowrance, spokeswoman for the Nashville International Airport Authority told Canoe News.
'It's unusual that someone would go to those measures to cover it up.'
The woman apparently suffers from an unspecified medical complaint and although the flight soon took off again, she was not allowed to re-board.
She remains unidentified and was not charged in the incident.
