Laughter is coming to Glasgow

Holidaymakers who enjoy a laugh while taking a break from the stresses and strains of daily life may want to head to Glasgow in March.
The Scottish city is playing host to Europe's biggest comedy festival between 8 March and 24 March.
The Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival is once again fast approaching and 2007, the festival's fifth year in existence, is set to be the biggest yet.
Over 40 venues are set to host comedy geniuses from across the world for a period of 17 days, in what organisers are calling the most extensive programme of comedy ever.
Established comedians such as Jimmy Carr, Paul Merton and Sean Hughes will be taking part, as will international acts, with the likes of Joan Rivers making an appearance.
The festival is nothing if it is not a stage for new talent and the 2007 event will see the latest comedians to take the scene by storm, with Russell Brand and Alan Carr due to appear.
'This year we have an incredible 288 shows in 40 venues throughout the city, surpassing last year's festival and once again providing a great range of talent from right across the comedy spectrum,' said Linda Allan from the Scottish Comedy Agency, the firm behind the festival.
In addition to the live acts, there will also be cinematic comedy treats to enjoy from classics such as Airplane, to more recent releases such as Borat.
