Rock artists the Police have announced that their greatest hits world tour will kick off in Vancouver.
The tour, in which singer Sting will be reunited with guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland after more than 20 will kick off in the Canadian city in May.
55-year-old Sting commented of the reunion: 'What's happening is, sort of, very healing.'
The tour will launch in Vancouver on 28 May and visit the other Canadian cities of Toronto on 22 July and Montreal on 25 July.
The trio are said to have been rehearsing in Vancouver
which is located in the south western corner of the Canadian province of British Columbia
for the past couple of weeks.
Vancouver is the host city for sporting as well as rock greats: the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are to be held there in 2010.
Famed for its mountainous backdrop and Pacific coastline, Vancouver is the largest city in Western Canada, with a population of over 2m.
