This year's Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), the most important marine event in the region, looks set to feature some of the world's best yachts.
Superyachts more than 25 metres long and offering luxurious facilities including state-size dining rooms, gyms and spa-baths will be among vessels aiming to tickle marine investors' fancy.
At least three super yachts measuring as much as 50 metres will be present, along with superyacht manufacturers such as Luerssen from Germany and Amels from the Netherlands.
Helal Saeed Al Marri, director general of the events organiser, The Dubai World Trade Centre, said: 'In recent years the Dubai International Boat Show has become synonymous with luxury yachting and the lure of seeing these multi-million dollar superyachts at close range is something that appeals to everyone.'
He added: 'The Dubai International Boat Show is also the perfect opportunity for the many superyacht builders and their suppliers to market their wealth of products to a captive audience.'
The event will take place from 13 - 17 March 2007 at the Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi.
