Stansted installs new travel plan technology

Passengers passing through Stansted airport in the UK are to be encouraged to use public transport when travelling to and from the hub.
Officials have installed state-of-the-art touch-screen technology around the airport which informs passengers of the wide variety of travel options that are available to them.
The screens, which have been provided by Cityspace, are known as Information Pods and are capable of giving people detailed information on how best to plan their journey.
Bus and rail information is available, as well as weather reports and information on delays.
'Around 40% of passengers currently use public transport to get to and from Stansted - the highest figure for any airport in the UK - and the second highest in Europe,' revealed the airport's public transport manager Steve Mills.
'This new service showcases the wide range of transport options that are available to passengers and allows them to plan their onward journey from start to finish.
'We will be monitoring closely how widely used the Information Pods become, as we have plans to install more of them in the future if they prove to be successful,' he added.
The three Information Pods which have already been installed cost Stansted £100,000 and are located at different spots throughout the airport.
Mr Mills also confirmed that Stansted's new bus and coach station should be completed in the spring.
