Passengers onboard a flight between New Delhi and London were left fuming when their journey was delayed because the pilot and his crew were too tired to fly.
Hundreds of passengers were forced to wait for 13 hours after the pilot declared that he would not fly the plane until he had had more sleep.
The staff had been staying in a hotel in the Indian city and complained that it was too noisy to get any sleep.
This meant that hundreds of people were forced off their flight and put into temporary accommodation.
To make matters worse, there were not enough available rooms at the local hotels, meaning that many people had to share.
'It was very chaotic,' passenger Sunil Thapar told the Times of India. 'Due to a shortage of rooms, some people, including me, had to share rooms with strangers.'
