Having recently completed her three and a half week stint in prison, Paris Hilton jetted to Hawaii to soak up some tropical sun and feast on some proper food.
The blonde socialite, who vowed to be a better person after spending 23 days behind bars for driving violations, was photographed by journalists as she made her way to the tropical haven of Maui, Hawaii's second largest island.
The 26 year old donned a black wig and straw hat in order to avoid the media attention, but with the events of the past week and her interview on US show Larry King Live, she was immediately cast back into the spotlight.
'I've been a little immature in the past and made some wrong choices,' she said on the show. 'But they made me who I am today.'
Maui is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Hawaii. In 2005, it welcomed well over 2.2 million tourists from around the world. Thanks to its booming tourist industry, the island has witnessed phenomenal economic growth in the last five years.
