Kylie Minogue goes 'sci-fi' in Cardiff

Kylie Minogue was in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, this week to film her role in the up-coming special Christmas episode of science fiction series Dr Who.
The Australian singer and former Neighbours beauty will play a French maid aboard the Titanic in the episode that will screen on television at the end of the year.
'It is an incredible thrill to be joining David [Tennant] and the entire Dr Who production for this year's Christmas special,' she told the Sun newspaper. 'Dr Who enjoys a unique history and it's going to be very exciting to be a part of that.'
While filming proceeds, Ms Minogue is staying in a suite at St David's Hotel and Spa, the city's 5-star modern architectural marvel that sits by the waterfront. Some scenes for the 2007 Christmas special, entitled 'Voyage of the Damned' were also filmed in Swansea.
