Katie Holmes on round trip to Berlin, New York

Katie Holmes was incredibly busy this week. The actress first whisked her daughter Suri away to Berlin where they stopped by on husband Tom Cruise, who is currently filming his latest flick, before heading over to New York for the premiere of Hairspray.
The Batman Begins actress was elegant on the New York red carpet in a stylish black dress as she supported her friends John Travolta and Queen Latifah, who star in the most recent adaptation of Hairspray.
Travolta, of Pulp Fiction fame, plays the role of drag queen Edna Turnblad in the new musical, which is based on the 2002 Tony award-winning Broadway show that was in turn adapted from the 1988 original film by John Waters.
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is currently working in Germany as a producer and actor on the film Rubicon, which follows a plot to assassinate Hitler during the Second World War. Rubicon is being directed by Bryan Singer and also stars British thespian Kenneth Brannagh.
