Josh Duhamel receives rapturous Tokyo welcome

Las Vegas star Josh Duhamel travelled over to Tokyo this week for the Japanese premier of summer blockbuster Transformers.
The heart-throb actor was met by hundreds of adoring young girls as he took to the red carpet in the Japanese capital, and spent a long while talking to fans and signing autographs.
He stars alongside Tyrese Gibson, Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox in the cgi-packed action blockbuster based on the popular 1980s cartoon, which saw alien robots from a faraway planet waging war against each other here, on earth.
Duhamel, who is currently dating US pop star and Black Eyed Pea Fergie, was relatively unknown until his starring turn in US drama Las Vegas, which explored the various trials and tribulations of running a casino and hotel on the strip.
Since its release, the Transformers film has proved to be extremely popular with cinema audiences. It has earned over £225m at the worldwide box office so far.
