Diane Kruger joins star cast for Windsor polo

German beauty Diane Kruger was in the UK this week, for the Cartier International Polo match at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park.
The actress, who played Helen in the Greek epic Troy and also starred alongside Nicholas Cage in comic adventure National Treasure, joined a whole host of celebrities reported by Hello Magazine as attending the event.
Former 007 Pierce Brosnan was on show at the star-spangled event, the most important in the sport's year, as was his Goldeneye adversary and star of Lord of the Rings, Sean Bean.
Comic thespian Bill Nighy also came to watch the game, as did Duncan James and Simon Webb from boy-band Blue and Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding.
While polo has drawn new fans in recent years, most notably model Jodie Kidd, it is still favoured by many in British high society. Jemimah Khan, Lady Alexandra Spencer-Churchill and Prince Michael of Kent were among the more distinguished guests that turned out.
