New York City opens arms to film buffs

From 28 September to 14 October, New York will be home to auteurs, cinephiles and film enthusiasts of all kinds for the 45th annual New York Film Festival.
Showcasing more than 25 American and foreign language premieres, the festival is one of the most highly regarded in the film industry.
The festival, which recognizes emerging talent and well-established film makers will open with the new film by lauded director Wes Anderson, The Darjeeling Limited. Featuring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman, the film follows three brothers on a train ride across India.
The lineup this year also includes the world premiere of the hotly anticipated new Coen brothers film, No Country for Old Men. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Cormac McCarthy, the book is in the vein of the Joel and Ethan's earlier, darker works, such Blood Simple and Fargo.
