BA to serve Poznan, Antalya next year

18 Oct 2007

British Airways has announced that it will be expanding its international route network with new destinations in Poland and Turkey next year.

The carrier will be offering flights to Poznan and the popular tourist destination of Antalya.

New flights to Poland will begin on a daily basis on 30 March and three flights per week will be operated to Antalya from 10 April.

Robert Boyle, BA's commercial director, said: 'The demand for business and leisure travel between the UK and Poland continues to grow and Poznan joins Warsaw and Krakow on our network. All three destinations will operate from Gatwick next summer when our Warsaw flights move from Heathrow.

'Antalya is in south-west Turkey and is an increasingly popular leisure destination with new tourism facilities being developed.'

Earlier this year the flag-carrying airline announced that the Italian city of Genoa would be added to its range of international destinations from 4 April next year.
