Scandinavian airline Finnair has said that it is 'all set' for the launch of its winter schedule on 28 October.
For the first time in a winter season Finnair will fly to Mumbai, Bucharest, Ljubljana and Lisbon this year following the introduction of these destinations in the spring.
On 3 December the number of Finnair flights to Bangkok will double, with an extra daily service, and a new morning connection to Geneva will open.
In February 2008 a fourth weekly flight to Munich will commence with the Scandinavian carrier, as will new links to Vienna and Warsaw.
Mattias Wickholm, traffic planning manager for Finnair, said: 'There are good connections between Geneva, Munich and Vienna and Finnair's Asian destinations in both directions.
'Geneva is a special favourite with business travellers. Capacity is also being added on account of the skiing season.'
Finnair will operate its winter timetable from its Vantaa hub in Helsinki until 30 March next year.
