As if making multiple trips to the tropical islands of Indonesia wasn't enjoyable enough, regular visitors to the country will soon be rewarded with a medal, according to reports.
People who visit the south-east Asian nation more than 20 times will be decorated in a government initiative to entice more people to become regular holidaymakers there.
'We hope that by presenting the medals, we will encourage more foreign tourists to come to Indonesia,' culture and tourism minister Jero Wacik told Antara, the Indonesian national news agency.
The reward scheme is expected to come into effect in the near future after final details are finalised.
Indonesia is a popular destination for many travellers on the south-east Asian trail, with six million international arrivals expected this year and another seven million in 2008.
The country consists of thousands of separate islands and is the largest archipelagic state in the world.
