Virgin is celebrating 20 years operating flights from Gatwick to Orlando by offering one lucky family a holiday of a lifetime, according to reports.
In partnership with Walt Disney World the airline will present one family with the opportunity to be the overall marshalls in the Disney Dreams Come True pre-parade at the theme park resort along with VIP privileges.
Virgin Atlantic's chief executive, Steve Ridgway, said: '20 years on this sunny and fun-filled destination has never lost its appeal for British holidaymakers.'
Virgin launched the Gatwick to Orlando route in May 1988 and has since taken nearly 10m passengers to the popular Florida destination.
'Year after year families continue to visit the home of world-renowned Walt Disney World with almost half of all Brits choosing to fly with
Virgin Atlantic. With the combined effect of the strength of the pound against the dollar and our great fares there really is no better time to visit Florida,' said Mr Ridgway.
Virgin Atlantic added flights from Manchester airport to Orlando in May 1996 after the destination proved so popular with passengers from Gatwick.
