New cruises, deals available for 2010

2 Oct 2008

P&O Cruises has launched its latest Pacific Dawn and Pacific Sun 2010 brochure, which reportedly offers savings of up to 50% and features 24 new cruises.

The company's forthcoming range of services in the Pacific region will include a number of two- and three-night themed sampler cruises offering wine tasting, coffee appreciation and cooking classes with signature chefs.

Departing from both Sydney and Brisbane, the sampler trips are aimed at people who are cruising for the first time and those looking for weekend getaways.

Ann Sherry, chief executive of Carnival Australia, which operates P&O Cruises, said: 'These new sampler cruises mean we will now be able to share the unique P&O Cruises experience with more people than ever before.'

She added: 'The introduction of our new onboard activities – including greater entertainment options for children and families, new fitness programs and our recent food and beverage overhaul – continues to garner loyalty from our passengers, who sail with P&O Cruises holiday after holiday.'

Other highlights in the cruise line's 2010 programme include an 11-night Tasmania itinerary and its first sailing to New Zealand from Sydney in more than eight years.
