Oman Air to boost Gatwick services
21 Oct 2008
Oman Air has confirmed plans to launch an additional flight between Muscat and London Gatwick, which will operate every Sunday from 26 October.
This additional service will bring the carrier's number of weekly flights to seven and fulfil its ambition to offer daily flights on its route between Muscat and London Gatwick.
Passengers using the service will be flown on an Airbus A310 aircraft offering both business class and economy seats.
This will not be the only change to Oman Air's international network, as the airline also plans to increase its number of flights between Muscat and Bangkok to six per week.
The carrier currently operates a fleet including two Airbus A310 aircraft and ten Boeing 737s, which fly to 27 destinations worldwide.
Another major operator in the Middle East, Gulf Air, will this month launch a new schedule of flights between London and Muscat, which will include an overnight service to offer a full day in the capital of Oman.
