Swiss to maintain services this winter

Swiss Airlines has announced that it will maintain the number of destinations in its route network for the winter schedules, which will begin on 26 October.
The carrier is in fact planning to add further frequencies on some of its routes, which will collectively serve 76 locations in 42 countries.
On its intercontinental network, Swiss will increase capacity on its services from Zurich to Dubai and Muscat, which will be operated by Airbus A340 aircraft from 15 December.
In Europe, the carrier will add an extra daily service between Zurich in Switzerland and London City airport.
Passengers will be able to choose from nine daily flights between Zurich and London City a connection that is important for the business travel market.
Swiss flights to Valencia will switch from Geneva to Zurich, while services between Zurich and Stockholm will be boosted by an extra flight on Saturdays and Sundays between Christmas this year and Easter 2009.
