Fans of all things boating will want to be in New York in December for one of America's largest boat shows.
Taking place at the Jacob K Javits Convention Centre from 13-21 December is the New York National Boat Show, with over 1,000 vessels of all shapes and sizes to view.
Whether to purchase or simply browse, the event is a must-see for fans of all things oceanic.
Over 300 exhibitors come to the annual event each year to show off their latest wares.
From boats to paraphernalia and essential bits of kit, the boat show has it all in spades.
As well as the option to buy there are also a huge number of opportunities to learn at the show.
From boat building workshops to guest author lectures, free fishing seminars and remote control boat races, it is a truly unique event.
According to events website Frommers, there is even an amazing waterskiing squirrel called Twiggy which has to be seen to be believed.
