The Big Day Out celebrations take place all over Australia and New Zealand, including in the big cities of Auckland, Adelaide and Perth.
Last year saw a huge number of big names take to the touring festival's stage, including Bjork and Dizzee Rascal.
In January and February 2009 it looks to be no different with the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, the Ting Tings and emo favourites Bullet For My Valentine all behind the mic.
For eco-minded travellers there is even the option of buying a green ticket and carbon-offsetting your day out.
Festival travellers will need to book their tickets soon if they want to take up the chance of spending a Big Day Out in Australia, as some of the cities (such as Melbourne) have already sold out four months before the event.
