Holidaymakers have been invited to pay a visit to the Barbados Jazz Festival in January, with the island's tourist board saying the event will boast 'vibrant energy'.
Multi-million record-selling singer James Blunt will be one of the most high-profile performers at the festival, which will take place from 12 to 18 January.
Blunt will perform along with the band Kite at the Sir Garfield Sobers complex on 14 January.
The 16th edition of the event, which is set up to celebrate both local and international talent, will also feature the BBC Jazz Project, Harvey Mason, Diana Jarrett and David Burnett.
In the past, the festival has played host to some of the biggest names in jazz music, including Kenny G, Wynton Marsalis, Ray Charles, Roberta Flack, Luther Vandross and Erykah Badu.
Visitors will be able to see concerts at a number of venues around Barbados, including the picturesque settings of Sunbury Plantation Huose and Farley Hill national park.
