People with an interest in modern art will be able to attend an exhibition in Paris over the coming months that boasts work by some of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
Based at the Musee du Luxembourg, the display features more than 70 items from the collection of Portuguese entrepreneur Jose Berardo, who owns more than 860 pieces of modern art in total.
The Berardo archive is considered one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary art in Europe.
Running until 22 February next year, the Musee du Luxembourg exhibition features work by such seminal artists as Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Joan Miro, Max Ernst and Piet Mondrian.
The wide-ranging showcase is split up into sections that each focus on different themes, including surrealism, associations between American and European art in the 1960s and artistic creativity from 1970 onwards.
Paris is one of the most popular cities in Europe for travellers with an interest in art, boasting such famous institutions as the Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre and the Centre Georges Pompidou.
