The tourism and commerce marketing department of Dubai has claimed that the emirate offers options for people travelling on a budget as well as those on luxury holidays.
While it is developing a reputation as a luxury holiday destination, Dubai also offers options for people travelling on a budget, according to the emirate's department of tourism and commerce marketing (DTCM).
Dubai boasts a number of luxury options, including the recently opened Atlantis the Palm and the award-winning Burj Al Arab hotel.
However, the DTCM claims that there are many alternatives for people looking for affordable holidays that still offer the 'service and facilities for which Dubai is renowned'.
These include a Premier Inn that opened earlier this year, three Holiday Inn Express hotels and two Ibis hotels.
There are also affordable dining and shopping locations in the emirate, including the Dubai Outlet Mall, which boasts a number of stores and cheap restaurants, as well as traditional souks that can be found all over the city.
Ian Scott, UK and Ireland director of the DTCM, said: 'Easily accessible, with year-round sunshine and a superb quality of experience, Dubai can offer the affordable solution for holidaymakers seeking a longer-haul break.
'People may be taking fewer holidays, however they will be looking to expect the best from their travel experiences, and excellence is what we have come to expect from Dubai's offering.'
