New Dubai shopping centre to open

Holidaymakers in Dubai will be able to take advantage of a new shopping destination in the emirate when the Dubai Marina Mall opens on 22 December.
The new centre is expected to attract shoppers over the winter holiday season and also provide new retail outlets ahead of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which will get underway in January.
Dubai Marina Mall comprises more than 390,000 square feet of leasable area over four levels, with 160 stores selling fashion, jewellery, home furnishings, entertainment products and more.
Young holidaymakers could well be attracted to the centre thanks to the presence of brands such as Diesel, Karen Millen, Lacoste and Sephora.
Ian Ferguson, the mall's general manager, said that it boasts a 'dynamic mix of high street fashion and trendy labels'.
He added: 'Dubai Marina Mall will be the destination of choice for shopping, leisure and entertainment.'
The United Arab Emirates will see an influx of eager shoppers from 15 January for the Dubai Shopping Festival, an event that will involve hundreds of stores offering discounts and special offers.
