Flybe to boost capacity from Cardiff to Glasgow

Regional airline Flybe has announced plans to boost capacity on its flights to Glasgow from Cardiff airport this year.
The carrier said that it is seeking to make more seats available to 'fill the void' that will be left when bmibaby suspends operations on the route on 29 March.
Increased services from Cardiff to Glasgow would also reinforce Flybe's commitment to offering 'convenient, affordable travel between the two destinations', the airline claimed.
Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer, said: 'We look forward to welcoming our new customers on this important route and again reaffirm our determination to serving the people of Wales and to becoming Cardiff's number one airline.'
Mr Rutter also announced a sale that the airline is currently offering, providing savings of up to 50% on flights between 1 April and 30 June.
In addition to its services to UK locations such as Aberdeen, Belfast and Manchester, Flybe operates a network of European flights that serves destinations including Alicante, Paris, Geneva and Milan.
