Costa Cruises unveils 2010 brochure
23 Feb 2009
Costa Cruises has unveiled its 2010 brochure, which features exclusive destinations, new customer incentives and tours including Michelin food and wine excursions.
One of the biggest boosts to the cruise line's operations next year will be the launch of the new ship Costa Deliziosa, which will enter service in February 2010.
The vessel's maiden cruise on 7 February will last 37 days, consisting of a 20-day journey from Savona to Dubai, followed by a 17-day itinerary that will head to the Indian Ocean and the Maldives.
Costa Cruises will launch other services including seven-day winter cruises in the Arabian Gulf, with departures from Dubai and stopovers in Oman and Bahrain.
Another big innovation next year will be the launch of new food and wine excursions giving passengers the chance to visit Michelin-starred restaurants.
A number of eco-friendly shore trips will also be made available, which will take in parks, nature reserves and other locations to give travellers an insight into their holiday destination.
Costa Cruises recently announced that it has invested 22m (£19.3 million) over the past three months in maintenance of its ships the Serena, Atlantica, Europa, Romantica and Concordia.
