Flights to Amsterdam could be in high demand towards the end of April ahead of the city's Queen's Day celebrations.
On 30 April every year, the Dutch capital hosts a massive public party to mark the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands and promote a sense of national togetherness.
The tradition began on 31 August 1885 and was changed to 30 April in 1949 to celebrate the birthday of Queen Juliana, keeping that date ever since.
Amsterdam is the centre of Queen's Day, regularly attracting more than 500,000 visitors who come to enjoy open-air concerts, parades, public parties and other events.
Families can visit the city to take their youngsters to fireworks displays, street theatre performances and craft shows, while older visitors will enjoy browsing through the giant markets that are set up throughout the city.
