Dubai-based hospitality group Jumeirah has announced a partnership with
Singapore Airlines relating to the carrier's KrisWorld frequent flyer programme.
All members of the programme will now earn air miles whenever they stay at one of Jumeirah's hotels in Dubai, London or New York, all of which are served by
Singapore Airlines.
The hospitality group said that, as well as rewarding its customers, the partnership underlines its commitment to the Asia Pacific region.
Later this year, the company will open the Jumeirah Han Tang Xintiandi in Shanghai, its first hotel in the region.
There are currently five-star Jumeirah properties under development in the United Arab
Emirates, Oman, the Maldives, Thailand, Argentina, Spain, Scotland and other destinations.
It was recently announced that the hospitality group's restaurant division had completed deals to open new branches in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The agreements followed previous deals to open Jumeirah restaurants in Lebanon, Egypt and Cyprus.
