Krakow to host Screen Festival

Visitors to the city of Krakow in Poland will be offered an experience of the destination's dynamic cultural scene in May as it hosts the Screen Festival.
Scheduled for 15 and 16 May this year, the festival presents a blend of visual arts and music, with video installations set up in the city and bands performing live on raised stages.
The gigs take place in two squares in the heart of the Krakow Old Town, which is one of its most popular tourist areas.
Bands confirmed for this year's festival include Travis, Stereolab, the Notwist, Late of the Pier and Rubik.
Past events have featured performances by former Roxy Music singer Bryan Ferry, actress turned punk-rock star Juliette Lewis and British dance group Underworld.
Visitors to Krakow can head to a number of venues around the city if they want to listen to some live music, including the Rotunda club, the Harris jazz bar and Alchemia.
