Sports fans will be heading to Edinburgh this spring as the city hosts its inaugural Festival of Rugby.
The first event in this sporting bonanza will be the Rugby League Magic Weekend on 2 and 3 May, which will see a full round of seven Super League fixtures played back-to-back over two days at Murrayfield stadium.
Next up will be the Heineken Cup final, which will be played at the 67,400 capacity Murrayfield on 23 May.
Sides still involved in the European club rugby tournament, which will host its quarter-final matches on 11 and 12 April, include the Leicester Tigers, Toulouse, Ospreys and Harlequins.
Edinburgh will then be the location of the final leg of the
Emirates IRB Sevens World Series on 30 and 31 May, the culmination of an international competition that began in Dubai in November 2008.
People interested in seeing Edinburgh's club rugby side in action can watch them play Cardiff Blues at Murrayfield on 3 April.
