Bobs and Wendys to visit Legoland for free

17 Apr 2009

Families will be able to treat their children to a weekend of fun and entertainment at Legoland Windsor next month when the attraction hosts a special Bob the Builder event.

Taking place on the bank holiday weekend of 2 to 4 May, Build with Bob will offer free entry to all youngsters named Bob and Wendy whose parents can provide proof of their child's name.

Annual pass holders will also be able to attend the event for free and it will be included in the general admission price for all other visitors.

Build with Bob has been arranged to mark the popular character's tenth anniversary and will invite visitors to make some impressive Lego creations with the cartoon handyman himself.

It is one of many events that will be taking place at Legoland Windsor over the coming months, along with the Viking Midsummer Fest on 20 and 21 June and the Legoland Live festival on 18 and 19 July.

The Legoland Billund resort in Denmark recently combined with Lalandia, another popular family attraction, to create the country's largest theme park.
