People visiting New York in June will be offered some classy entertainment when Elvis Costello and the Sugarcanes perform in the city.
The group will play the Beacon Theatre on 10 June as part of a short tour across the United States.
Secret, Profane and Sugarcane, the band's new album, is due for release on 2 June and will be promoted at their live shows over the coming months.
Produced by T Bone Burnett, the record features contributions from some of America's leading country music and bluegrass string band players.
Elvis Costello and the Sugarcanes will play UK cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow over the coming weeks before heading to the US to play all over the country in June, finishing with the Telluride festival in Colorado on 19 June.
New York's Beacon Theatre will host a number of other live music concerts over the coming months, including the Ultimate Doo-Wop Show (6 June) and a gig by Tom Jones (21 July).
