Modern art lovers will be heading to Brussels this summer to visit a brand new art museum in the Belgian capital.
The Magritte Museum, which is named after the Belgian surrealist artist Rene Magritte, will be opened at Place Royale in the centre of Brussels on 2 June.
Work on the museum was launched to mark 40 years since Magritte's death and its completion will enable visitors to see some 170 of the artist's works in one place.
Tourism Flanders announced that it would be giving a few lucky people the opportunity to have an advanced tour of the new museum as part of a special trip in Brussels from 27 to 30 May.
The visit, which tourists can apply for by contacting the tourist office, will also offer the chance to experience the atmosphere of the Brussels Jazz Marathon and relax in some of the Belgian capital's bars and cafes.
Travellers can reach Brussels by travelling on the Eurostar or by catching flights with carriers including Brussels Airlines, easyJet and
bmi.
