Jazz fans will be arranging their visits to Krakow soon to ensure they are in the city when it hosts its 14th Summer Jazz Festival.
This event was first held at the Piwnica Pod Baranami in Krakow's old town in 1996 to celebrate the cabaret venue's 40th birthday.
It has been held at the Piwnica ever since, expanding every year to welcome more performers and present shows in extra theatres, clubs and outdoor locations across Krakow.
The festival has presented performances by the likes of Branford Marsalis and Nigel Kennedy in the past and this year will feature artists including the NDR Big Band, Maria Schneider and others.
Krakow will also celebrate various forms of traditional music from around the world this year at the Crossroads festival from 24 to 26 July.
