Royal Caribbean improves dining programme

Royal Caribbean International has announced some improvements to its dining programme that are designed to offer more flexibility and convenience to passengers.
Available immediately across the cruise line's fleet, the new dining options allow customers to choose to eat at the time that best suits them.
The flexible programme is being made available alongside Royal Caribbean's in-stateroom service and its traditional, casual and speciality dining options.
Lisa Bauer, the cruise line's senior vice-president of hotel operations, said: 'Feedback during the piloting of these programmes has been very positive, with many of our guests even comparing the level of personal service and recognition from our staff to that of their favorite restaurant at home.'
Royal Caribbean offers a number of speciality restaurants on selected ships across its fleet, including the Chops Grille Steakhouse and the Portofino Italian restaurant.
The cruise line recently announced that the award-winning musical Hairspray will be performed on its new ship Oasis of the Seas on its sailings from Fort Lauderdale, Florida from December this year.
