Travellers planning city breaks in London for an early summer getaway this year will be able to enjoy plenty of live music at Hyde Park.
The Hard Rock Calling festival will get the musical entertainment underway from 26 June to 28 June, with acts including the Killers, Neil Young, the Kooks, Seasick Steve and the Pretenders.
Arguably the biggest name on the bill, however, is Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band, who will bring Hard Rock Calling to a triumphant conclusion on the Sunday night.
It will then be the turn of Britpop greats Blur to entertain the masses at Hyde Park, with two gigs on 2 and 3 July as part of a short UK tour.
Fans of the 1990s favourites will also be able to catch them at venues including the O2 Academy in Newcastle (25 June) and the MEN Arena in Manchester (26 June).
The short season of live music in London's famous park will be brought to a close on 4 and 5 July with the Wireless Festival, which will feature live performances by Basement Jaxx, Kanye West and more.
