Free live music on offer in Los Angeles

Music fans visiting Los Angeles this summer will be able to enjoy a number of free outdoor concerts across the city.
From mid-July to late August, Culver City hosts its Summer Sunset festival, which sees classic rock, bluegrass, country and other types of music performed in the courtyard of City Hall.
Santa Monica pier will also host live music this summer, with the Twilight Dance and Music series welcoming performers from Hawaii, Jamaica, Argentina and other exotic locations.
Set to get underway in late June is the Grand Performances festival, which takes place in California Plaza and presents more than 40 free performing arts events.
Travellers may also want to head to the Ford Amphitheatre before October to see its summer season of music performances, which are held alongside dance shows, film screenings and more.
Los Angeles - as well as other popular California cities such as San Francisco and San Diego - can be reached with major airlines including Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and American Airlines.
