Jazz fans will have the opportunity to combine a world-class festival with a trip to Venice this summer.
The Venice Jazz Festival will be held at Teatro la Fenice in Piazza San Marco and other venues around the city from 27 July to 2 August.
Paolo Conte will be among the artists performing at the festival this year, playing on a special stage in Piazza San Marco on 31 July with support from the Symphonic Orchestra of Venice.
Jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis will also be entertaining the crowds in Venice on 28 July, along with saxophonist Charles Lloyd and many other artists.
There will also be a host of accompanying events taking place in Italy's famous aquatic city, including art exhibitions, readings, conferences and culinary fairs.
Most festival performances will be based around Venice's Piazza San Marco, arguably the city's most popular tourist area owing to the fact that it is home to the famous St Mark's Basilica.
