Australia river cruise promotion launched

People visiting Australia this year can take advantage of a special offer being launched by a company offering cruises on the Murray river.
Captain Cook Cruises announced that it would be 'celebrating South Australia's mild winter months' with the promotion.
Half-price cruises will be offered to friends or partners travelling with a passenger paying the full fare on the PS Murray Princess paddle-wheeler.
The promotion will cover all three-, four- and seven-night Murray river cruises from June to August this year, during which time the temperature ranges from 15 to 20 degrees C.
Travellers taking part in the tours can see an impressive array of wildlife including 350 species of bird. There are also activities on offer including nature walks, historic port visits and tours providing an insight into the ecology of the river.
The Murray is Australia's largest river, running through the states of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. It passes by limestone cliffs, picturesque gorges and other impressive scenery.
