Enjoy some local events in the Great Lakes

The Visit USA Association has published a list of the various events that people visiting the Great Lakes region will be able to enjoy this summer.
One of the most popular will be the Nisswa Turtle Races in Minnesota, which see hundreds of hard-shelled reptiles testing their speed against one another every Wednesday from 10 June to 19 August.
Food lovers can catch flights to Chicago from 26 June to 5 July this year to attend the 29th annual Taste of Chicago event, which will be held in Grant Park.
More than 70 of the city's most popular restaurants will participate in the food fair, serving up tasty dishes that are enjoyed by more than 3m visitors.
Detroit, another big city in the Great Lakes region, will also be involved in the summer events season this year when it hosts its International Jazz Festival from 4 to 7 September.
The Great Lakes is the world's biggest group of freshwater lakes, located on the border between Canada and the United States.
