19 Jun 2009
The acclaimed exhibition Body Worlds and The Story of the Heart will come to the state of New York for the first time this year when it opens in the city of Buffalo.

The Body Worlds exhibition is based on the science of plastination - a process invented by Dr Gunther von Hagens in 1977 that allows the human anatomy to be preserved long after death.
More than 200 authentic human specimens feature in the show, giving visitors the chance to have a close look at the internal structures and functions of their own bodies.
The Body Worlds exhibition at the Buffalo Museum of Science will also feature a section focusing specifically on the heart.
Buffalo is the second largest city in the state of New York. It is located north-west of New York City, on the shores of Lake Erie close to the famous tourist attraction of Niagara Falls.
