Bmibaby to launch new flights to Prague

Bmibaby will launch new flights to Prague from East Midlands airport this winter, it has been announced.
The low-cost airline will serve the Czech capital with three weekly flights, operating on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, from 4 December to 26 March next year.
Julian Carr, commercial director of bmibaby, said that the launch of the new service had been timed to enable travellers to visit Prague's famous Christmas markets.
He added: 'In addition to the three flights [a] week, we will be adding extra services for the two-week period over Christmas and new year to allow people from the East Midlands to enjoy the traditional Christmas festivities in Prague.
'For those looking to do something different for New Year's Eve, the Czech capital has a host of events taking place that are sure to be very popular.'
Bmibaby now offers flights to 16 destinations from East Midlands. Other European cities that travellers can reach from the airport include Malaga, Nice, Paris and Amsterdam.
