Dubai offers new luxury accommodation option

Luxury travellers will soon be offered a new accommodation option in Dubai.
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced that it was making rooms in the new InterContinental Residence Suites property at Dubai Festival City available for bookings from July.
The new establishment offers state-of-the-art facilities for guests to make use of, including high-speed broadband access in every room, fully-equipped kitchens and 37-inch plasma screen televisions.
There are a total of 212 apartments on offer throughout the hotel, ranging from studios and one-bedroom suites to a luxury penthouse with views across Dubai Creek and its own spa treatment room.
InterContinental Residence Suites manager Tom Lord said: 'We have a truly international team with both local and international knowledge giving us a fantastic opportunity to provide a very personalised service to all of our guests.
'Making the property available for bookings from July has re-confirmed the enormous demand for this type of upmarket, extended residential accommodation as the market in Dubai continues to mature and diversify.'
IHG revealed plans to expand its presence in Central America last month when it signed deals to develop two Holiday Inn hotels in Costa Rica and El Salvador.
